Follows the standard courtroom thriller formula a little too closely to stand out from the crowd. Again, the twists are seen coming a mile away. But Morgan Freeman is great in it and makes it watchable.
>"Lawyers are a waste of oxygen." A little predictable, but the performances are pretty good. It felt like I was watching a poor man's version of A Few Good Men (a movie I really love).
Ashley always plays the victim and does it very well. Great cast. Story about a husband who is accused of murder and his wife defends him in court. It has a twist though.
I predicted the whole think from the beginning, but it was still so fun to continue and watch it happen. I loved the movie! And those two did amazing together, I loved them here and in the movie kiss the girls.
A fairly decent 90s courtroom thriller with a military bent... and lost for an ending, they throw in a ridiculous twist. I find Ashley Judd endlessly watchable. A good actress and about the prettiest woman in Hollywood during the 90s. Morgan Freeman is his usual reliable and charismatic self. Amanda Peet has little to do but brightens up the screen. And pre-Parks and Recreation Adam Scott shows some promise in a more dramatic role. It was holding its own until the silly ending. Shame. 6/10
