Another great film noir movie that we see in Cine Paco, good script, direction and actors.

Sort of a low-rent Maltese Falcon, with one too many twists and turns for my liking. There's a thing that happens in movies like this where the mystery is sort of impossible to follow or understand, but the uber-detective tracks everything instantly and then spends the whole film standing in various rooms explaining to other characters what's going on. It bugs me from a screenplay perspective, but it's also not fun to watch in a movie like this with some mostly uninteresting characters.
