Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn star in the action-comedy _Bird on a Wire_. The story follows Rick Jarmin, who’s witness protection cover is blown when he’s recognizes by a his ex-fiancée, and the two of them end up on the run when a cartel sends hitmen after them. Gibson and Hawn have fairly good chemistry together, and are backed by a solid supporting cast that includes David Carradine, Bill Duke, and Stephen Tobolowsky. However, the tone’s a little too lighthearted and takes away some of the intensity from the chases and fight scenes. Still, despite a few weak spots, _Bird on a Wire_ is a fun and entertaining film.

A classic romantic action comedy.

It's a pretty simple and silly action-comedy that's not gonna win any awards for originality, but it's light, breezy and fun. Hawn and Gibson have electric chemistry and make for a team I can watch all day.

Correct continuation easier to digest.

Excellent chemistry between the leads, funny, and exciting. Pretty easy to recommend Bird on a Wire to anyone that likes action comedies. Just don't expect an Oscar worthy story. It's just there to string the comedy and action together.
