Probably one of the dumbest films ever made (translation: go and watch it now!). Most of the scenes are taken from an old kung fu movie and have been redubbed and edited as a parody with a white dude’s face pasted on top of the original Hong Kong actor. The dubbing is out of sync and poorly acted to create the same mood of old martial arts movies, but most jokes are clearly improvised on the go. It’s funny for the first five minutes but gets boring quickly. On the other hand, the action scenes are superb, most notably the infamous cow fight and the gopher-chucks. Actual score: 4.5 Guilty pleasure score: 8 Final score: 6
>"But, isn't Betty a woman's name?" This is a classic. The impressive part was them filming over an old 1970's movie, and I remember laughing so much as a kid while watching this. It doesn't make me laugh as much now, but the all the animal humor still holds up.
humor is definitely not on film critics score sheet.
So classic!
"Pay no attention to Wimp Lo, we purposely trained him wrong... as a joke." So stupid, but so funny.
