"Lake Placid 2" is basically just a rehash of the first film, only without the humor and infinitely worse. The effects are so bad that even the low budget is no longer a valid excuse. There are so many films that had significantly better effects with even less money. And then there's the terrible acting, which, in the case of some of the supporting cast, is really some of the worst I've ever seen. There may be cheap sequels to cult hits that have a certain entertainment value, but "Lake Placid 2" is definitely not one of them. It's obvious that no one on set was interested in this project, and that carries over to the finished product. Accordingly, you should definitely skip this film.

The acting was decent, the cgi was awful

You know you've hit 90's and early 2000's B-movie gold when tits come out within the first fifteen minutes of a movie.It was a magical time. 😁

The first movie was okay but this one... Omg how bad can you make the cgi... It's just a copy paste on top of the movie
