This cult favorite is a classic example of the right way to make campy horror flick. It's filled with laughable characters and funny but very creepy clowns. And speaking of those clowns...Wow! Their costumes and facial expressions are amazing. They look totally convincing, and they are all uniquely different from each other. About the laughs in this movie, they come from two places, the stupidity of the humans and the clown gags. However, the clown gags make you laugh rather unnervingly because the clowns themselves are so eerie. They kill a variety of ways and I'm not going to spoil it because the kills themselves are so creative. The special effects here are all practical and they are impressive. Check out John Vernon as Officer Mooney and Royal Dano as Farmer Gene Green for further hilarity.

A big load of complete ridiculousness. It's a loving throwback to 50s alien invasion flicks, that plays it totally straight all while being a ludicrous, goofy good time.

This is such a classic and one of a kind type movie, and if you haven’t seen this yet, than you have to watch it. You’ll definitely enjoy it!

Well you don't need the police, pal, you need a psychiatrist!” 😂 First time watching this one, pleasantly surprised, ok so its goofy, its over the top, a truly crazy ride. For one the film is very imaginative and creative in a lot of ways, such as when [spoiler] the clown is chasing the car and its just a clown pretending to be in a car and his feet have headlights, like what its pure genius and insanity at the same time. [/spoiler] [spoiler] It was also cool how killing them the deputy had to blast their noses off, like wtf [/spoiler] Looking forward to playing the upcoming video game 🎮 and reliving the crazy clown action. How do I sum it up.....if you like goofy, off the wall, horror, sci-fi comedy then this is for you.

*"Killer clowns from outer space? Holy shit."* The circus is in town! Cotton candy cocoons, pop-corn guns, ballon dogs, puppet shows, hand shadow puppetry, snake clowns and lots of alien clown evil laughter. Rightfully so, these clowns know how to entertain, there's so much creativity behind the tricks they do. Not much of a story but it's all about watching these clowns do havoc in the town in the funniest of ways. The extravagant colorful sets are a mix of *Teletubbies* and the Floop TV show in *Spy Kids*. Electric score and soundtrack. The costumes are nicely made and there's no time to get bored there's always something flashy happening on-screen. Awesome third act. A guilty pleasure all the way. Didn't want it to end. Can't wait to rewatch it. That was the longest straw in straw history!
