This movie is my definition of the phrase "WTF did i just watch".

A Silent Film That Leaves You Speechless...... For the Wrong Reasons: This movie is about a young girl who carries a large egg in a mysterious land. She encounters a young man in her pursuit who wants to know what's inside the egg. The movie starts with exploring the mysterious land, the buildings, and the mystical things that are happening. The movie is silent most of the time. The girl and the young man have a conversation about Noah's Ark as they have a mystical and mysterious egg. Mystical elements are left unexplained as well as the mysterious whales' shadow and the hunters trying to hunt them. I understand that the creator of this movie wants to show a bunch of things and leave it to the audience to define it from their perspective. But the movie doesn't provide enough story or define the lore to define the climax myself. The climax shows that the mysterious land is the hull of an upside boat, so all happens in a minute world within part of a bigger world, I suppose. In conclusion, I couldn't enjoy or praise this movie due to the lack of lore or story to give an open ending as the climax.

Intriguing with nice animation and art, but too abstract without any real information for the viewer.

Angel's Egg felt like an eternity of some lost soul wandering the unending plains of nothingness to only reflect itself as a dream to me that I will never be sure is just that.
