In this three-viewpoint structure, the perspectives aren't balanced in parallel, and there seems to be a clear intention to highlight one over the other two as the true one, so that in a way the Rashomon effect is lost, but the film is solid enough in its character depiction that it feels more like a narrative problem than a structural flaw. From the formal point of view of the horror genre, all three versions function with the same forcefulness, taking advantage of the claustrophobic space and using family dynamics to talk about a patriarchal and traditionally religious society.
