An absolute masterpiece in terms of the musical content and the raw performance, from Devin, Lynn, the band, and the orchestra... so why for the love of god are the visuals AI generated? I'm inclined to agree with Devin's own statement that this is his magnum opus, but as soon as that damn axolotl came on screen and I realised that not just that, but ALL the visuals of the concert were AI, it became hard to enjoy the rest of the show. I wish I had known about this before I paid money to watch the stream, and I wish artists stopped using genAI. There are so many well documented reasons why it's bad creatively as well as environmentally. I await the studio recording so I can enjoy the album without them.
