I watched half of it and I want my 45 minutes back
Time is precious, keep in mind you will never get that 90 minutes back.
It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t got out of my way to watch it. A bit predictable and not very horrory. I guess being locked up is a bit of a horror. The characters just seemed to lack depth.
this movie is nothing new and reminds me of aspects used in many other movies, a turned crazy surgeon or doctor with crazy ideas. paired with some plot twists however generally I found this movie fairly boring.
Twisted (2026) is a fun thriller that hits many of the same story beats as Don’t Breathe, leaning into tension, confined settings, and a few uncomfortable twists along the way. It’s not doing anything revolutionary for the genre, but it understands the assignment and executes it well enough. The movie moves along at a good pace and delivers the type of suspense you’d expect from a modern streaming-era thriller. It’s familiar territory, but it’s still engaging while it lasts, which is sometimes all a movie like this really needs. More than anything, I hope this leads to more horror roles for Lauren LaVera. Between her, Mia Goth, and Jenna Ortega, we’re in a pretty great era for modern scream queens. It doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it gave me exactly what I was hoping for — and that’s all I can ask for. Rating: 2.5/5 – 70% – Worth Watching
