All I knew about this movie was the famous scene, but the context surrounding it made it much more than that, and Halle took a risk that so many other actresses didn't want to do and she won an oscar for it.

This movie is about racism and how truly ugly it is. A great film with great performances by Halle Berry and Thornton. A must watch.

The redemption of an executioner.

I always meant to get around to this one and never did for whatever reason. It was solid. Two leads never botch any role they are in. Heath Ledger scene hit a bit harder than expected. Rating: 3.5/5 - 80% - Would Recommend

A good movie that is driven by the characters that are excellently played by namely Berry, Thornton and Ledger.
