kids without smartphone why the frames were always close? no wide shot. stress buildup was nice but IDK! is the story more about girl or doudo? or people being wolves. idk why i got more question than appreciation.

Kinda meh and pointless. Too thin and uninteresting

[Fantasia '24] The story places a woman in the middle of a group of men who have gathered in an isolated forest to expel their testosterone on a day of hunting, which can immediately make one think of a predictable path regarding gender conflicts. But if there is one thing this film has, it is that it never takes the path that the viewer might expect. It could be said that in this metaphorical exposition about a white patriarchal pack in which the only woman and the only black man appear as adjacent elements, the film finds a very attractive narrative, which never makes its suggestions explicit, but rather leaves them floating so that it is the imagination (and prejudices) of the viewer that completes its meaning.
