Not wanting to give away the story, but this movie has every right to relate to Hitchcock. You'll meet a supposedly average-joe tennis coach Tom, around 40 and spending nights drinking, dancing and copulating, and teaching holidaymakers, not very enthusiastically, during the day. Along comes a couple with a seven-year old son, and all changes. Tom becomes a character. The story involves a supposed crime with the husband going missing, but what really makes the movie special are the things remaining unsaid, you're lucky if the camera gives you a glimpse of an emotion, or a motion being made. There is so much tension, so much desire in so many layers, you're constantly filling in gaps with your own imagination. A beauty of a film, hadn't expected that from the description.
