One case, it relates to atomic testing. Good wardrobe.
The story actually isn't bad althought it could have been much more thrilling. There is an interesting idea lying at the bottom. But the whole movie is off somehow. This may sound silly but _Mulholland Falls_ feels like people wearing 50s clothes and driving 50s cars but actually being in 1996. Of course I know that is exactly what it is, it is a movie. But it shouldn't feel like it. How to explain this ? I watched a lot of the western made in the 40s through 60s. But it never felt like being in, say, the 60s and watching people pretending to be in f.e 1870 America. Ultimately the movie wasn't very engaging because of this for me. What makes it worth watching anyway are the actors. Even the smallest role is cast with someone you recognize and who either was known, or would become known.
