I'm just glad
nobody got hate-crimed
.
I actually really enjoyed this. And the soundtrack. Really nice to see a film where
a small town boy's identity is not a tension for _him_ as he discovers it at the ranch and just becomes happier

My friends and I, all the way through are "damn, you really got to have a conversation about what this relationship is/can be because it's gonna fall apart hard if you don't". And we all want to be friends (or...) with Carrie...

It will be interesting to re-watch it without the tension of waiting for the other shoe to **really** drop - Pepe's jealousy, worse problems with the mother (police responding to a kidnapping?) or a local mob
