What was supposed to be the epic finale of the original "Omen" trilogy quickly turns out to be a trivial and somewhat boring horror flick. While I generally appreciate Sam Neill, he fails to infuse the adult Damien with any unique personality in this film. His quest to prevent the return of the Son of God isn't exactly brimming with suspense, either. And his adversaries—a group of seven monks—act so incompetently that it's almost comical. Overall, you can definitely skip "The Final Conflict."
