Wasnt expecting much of the reboot, but it's cheesiness and call backs hit a 2009 nostalgia sweet spot.

Watched Zoey 102 as someone who grew up loving Zoey 101, so I definitely went into this with high expectations and a bit of nostalgia. It was exactly as cheesy as I expected it to be, which honestly wasn’t a bad thing. There were some genuinely funny moments sprinkled throughout, and it was nice seeing the characters again after so long. That said, it did feel like it was trying quite hard to modernise itself and lean into things like reality TV style humour and Love Island type vibes, which didn’t always land for me. Still, I was really glad they brought back so much of the original cast;  that alone made it worth watching. A fun, nostalgic watch, even if it was a bit messy in places.
