It was so scary that I fell asleep.
Inspired by the life and death of Matilda Dixon. (The intro tells her tragic demise). Unfortunately I think many people don't realize this actually happened and that it wasn't made up for the movie which is such an important part of getting submerged in the story. It was amazing upon release for it's original concept and pulling from a real life tragedy. Now it is full '00s camp and dated soundtrack but it is an absolute gem. I mean taking someone's actual dying curse and bringing it to life is such a great and creepy concept! It will always be a favorite! 20+yrs later and I still get the urge to watch it from time to time!
Generic jump scare horror movie with a more than a touch of J-Horror in the monster. Unfortunately it is REALLY predictable (take a wild guess what happens to the slimy lawyer character, or the town bully, or the dumb cop or actually anyone who isn't good-looking and heroic. Still, it's a passable time-waster and too short to get really annoying.
Uhhh! An Australian terror film.
It’s a good movie, but at the time of 2003 if we analyze it, it’s great, despite some holes and very bad effects, but it’s due to the lack of technology and investment at that time, it’s super worth it
