It has a lot of slow parts and offers very few thrills and scares, however, still a compelling trip through a man haunted by sins of the past. The film focuses on really getting under the skin of the lead character and J.J. Barry plays the character effectively. The score is a bit too intense and just doesn't quite match the countryside environment and the shadowy figure has a creepy quality to it but I wished the film could've done more with it. That said, it's technically competent despite its low budget. Some pretty intense moments, with some gorgeous shots of eerie landscape and dark ominous cloud, and most of the performances are quite solid.
