rushed second half but enjoyable if you watched the series. kept me hooked.
Entertaining movie. Brought back some good memories from back in the day. 👍 Well worth a watch. It takes a while to get up to speed.. 👍
Slightly more dramatic dialogue than a commercial for a kitchen appliance. So many cringey lines. It all just goes past so fast it’s like a blur. The worst part is the antagonists have absolutely zero back story or any development to the their characters. They are just there. The saving grace is probably the charisma of the all the characters from past Karate Kid movies and also the addition of Joshua Jackson’s ex-boxer role, which at least brought something fresh to the franchise. I’m a pretty big Karate Kid fan. I liked the movies and Cobra Kai. So this was a massive let down. If anything they could have made a three hour movie with all the content they tried to stuff in there.
The movie was good, BUT, there were some things that I thought were not so good. The musical choices, the rush to unfold the story... other than that, I loved the character and seeing the legend Myagi again :pray_tone2: 7/10
