While it’s basically the first movie (but worse) the ending has me interested in seeing where they take this next.

Huh… so, [spoiler] I thought they would do like an ‘origins’ story for the strangers (I didn’t watch the trailers) but it’s just the original movie in another setting lmao bar for bar. Kinda get that the small town plot was to let us know those ppl are definitely involved but there was just no pay off, ugh, still, it was tense, so I’ll give it a 6. Nothing new, original is better. “This is the story of one of the most brutal home invasions.” -my ass Disappointed is an understatement this series has been long one of my favorite horrors but they fell short with recycled plot everyone seen coming a mile away & plenty of drawn out filler scenes!!

It should be called "The Strangers: Cliché" . This movie was predictable at every turn and full of every cliché you can think of... just bad. The 2 main actors did a fine job, but still ... Don't bother with this mess.

Listen, this is a bad movie. But I'm still going to see the next ones, hoping they get better but knowing they probably won't. So yes, I'm part of the problem.
