Me, I love anything with The Rock in it, but even this has me scratching my head at times. Yes, I know the Ladder match wasn't a WWF original concept, but did the other promoters outside of Stampede use it? Unless Rocky was able to watch stampede wrestling in Hawaii, then how the heck would he know what a ladder match is when he was in elementary/middle school?
This is far from the greatest sitcom ever, but it was a damn easy watch. Its about wrestling, but also politics. It is a sitcom, but its also a documentary(-ish). There may not be much here to love, but there is almost nothing to dislike. I am quite disappointed this was not renewed because I looked forward to watching this every week. Average Season Review: 7.67/10 Recommendation: At Least Give it a Whirl (For NBC Sitcom Fans)
About half of each episode is good and a little bit funny etc. The start and the end of each episode is just very boring and political. Should of really tested the concept better because it really ruined a potentially good show.
