Another great show is going downhill. Season 4 feels completely off, and it’s not just because of Korvo’s voice change. I have nothing against Dan Stevens, but this role just doesn’t suit him. I feel disconnected from the character; everything sounds wrong. Even putting aside the voice change, the show itself feels like a completely different series this season. The script, acting, dialogue, and jokes are all lacking. I’m on the fifth episode, and I haven’t laughed once—not even a smirk. The once-engaging storyline has vanished, leaving me disappointed and saddened by what feels like a lost potential. The future of this show, which once seemed so promising, now hangs in the balance. I really hope this is just a small misstep in the show's development, and that they’ll find their footing again next season. If not, it might be better to end the series rather than drive away their loyal fan base. I also hope Justin Roiland’s absence won’t have the same effect on Rick and Morty. I’m still struggling to understand the decision to remove someone based solely on allegations. At least wait for a final outcome before making such a drastic change. Edit: I finished the season, and I’m even more disappointed. Normally, I’m all for profanity in movies and shows, but this was just excessive. It feels like they threw in curse words every minute just to pad the script. It doesn’t add anything; it just sounds juvenile. And the last episode? Absolute garbage.
Fired the main voice actor and tries to go on,... Big fail. Hire back the original voice actor or end this bullshit.
I am loving it so far (5 eps in). Idk why people are letting the voice affect their ratings for the show or maybe that is just what I think. But the show is brilliant as always. And the waaaaall, omg the wall! 🔥
I checked the rest of the season's voice actors.. So Korvo's voice change is permanent? Gaddam I'll google the reason why after posting this comment. But one thing for sure is I don't like the change. I genuinely thought it was a temporary switch, as a joke. The switch won't bother me much cause it feels like a natural thing that happened in the show. I'll just miss Justin Roiland's voice here is all. This show is still good nonetheless.
The Glen from Earth vs Silvercops story was good!
