I thought this was a brilliant ending. First watching the show I thought it was a bit soap opera like and one dimensional, but the characters did flesh out well for the most part. The two main characters were complex and I don't think the writers wanted it to be good v bad because they were both very complex just like in real life I guess. I was sweating from watching this so that is always a good indicator it was good as it only happens when I'm on tenterhooks watching a show or movie (haha), unless I have a medical condition I should check out.
pretentious, unbelievable story points, unlikeable characters who don't do anything remotely rational and none of it is ever questioned. this show was just infuriating. if you were expecting something great like big little lies, don't bother watching this
This was, to put it mildly, horrible. We're expected to sympathize with a horrible woman who did horrible things but it's somehow acceptable because she felt underprivileged. This could have been a great nuanced look at the different views and perspectives in parenting but ended up as just another show shoving a political agenda down our throats.
