IMO I really liked this show and think it is a shame that it wasn’t given a chance to expand on the story. The premise was good with a positive aspect of law enforcement, especially in the times we live. Shame it was cancelled

“Deputy” has been canceled after just one season at Fox. Too bad, hubby & I really liked the show, something we could watch together. Let's hope Netflix picks it up.
Love the rebel cowboy cop side of the show. Some of the political issues it goes for seems far too contrived and convenient. Despite this, it delivers on the action and grit. It's definitely a mixed bag but it's also one of the better cop shows in the last few years.
