Beautiful people doing what Indiana Jones couldn't and getting away with it. Enjoyable nonsense full of eye candy and cheesy dialogue that keeps you entertained while you eat your TV dinner :-)
I love this show already. It's got those fun Indiana Jones/ National Treasure vibes with a sprinkling of The Da Vinci Code and The Librarians. It's kind of kitschy and somewhat tacky, but it's all fun and I'm excited to see where the season takes us.
A Bad Girl and Boy Scout with chemistry and petty jealousies. Beautiful people. Some interesting casting (James Callis, Oded Fehr, Alicia Coppola). Black and white morality. Nazis and Terrorists. FBI and Interpol. Predictable story lines. No attempt at a plausible premise. It has all the characteristics of an old Saturday morning Action Adventure show (loved them when I was 10, but I'm giving this a pass). Based on the first two episodes, I give it a 4 (poor) out of 10. [Action Adventure]
If you're looking for big names, award winning performances, and historical accuracy you'll be very disappointed. If, however, you look at this as the latest in a long line of Indiana Jones rip-offs you'll probably be more receptive. It's just a bit of mindless fun to escape for an hour every week. Could the writing and acting be better? Sure. It's Relic Hunter without as much wit and a glossier budget.
S2 not as good as S1 but still some mindless enjoyable entertainment. I like the characters, story is decent but writing could be better, so would love to see a S3 but shame it has been cancelled as this is a nother show without woke bs that bites the dust. Why can't they leave the fun good stuff alone and cancel all the reality/cooking/dancing/woke shows.
