This is the kind of TV show you can have on in the background while cooking or doing other tasks, pleasant background noise, so to speak. But when you do pay attention, it’s surprisingly engaging, with interesting contestants and stunning locations. It’s refreshing to see a show that isn’t all about “good looking people”. The contestants seem to be there for the fun of it rather than chasing fame (though I hear a past winner is trying their hand at travel blogging). Overall, it feels fairly genuine, though it’s likely there’s some producer involvement and the occasional sob story. Still, it’s an enjoyable show you can dip in and out of.
New season just been shown as "coming soon" on the BBC 👍
If you like The Amazing Race, Pechino Express & shows like that. You'll like this. I think its a mix of both shows/concepts. You have the racing of both shows, while you have a "get from point a to point b" on yer own aspect like you have on Pechino. I think the only differences between the 3 shows is that the teams have no money on Pechino Express & have to stay with locals everytime. + RATW has no presenter. & I know it has its own page but, even the celebrity version of this is good.
