any one else upset that none of the episode title songs are actually in the episodes? :( Don't get me wrong, the music in this is fantastic, but still you gotta add those songs man
Eh. This is an extremely well produced show and well acted for the most part. However, I just was not very interested in the story or the characters. It's good, I just don't think it's really my thing. I'll watch the specials then decide if I want to continue into season two whenever that comes out.
The way this show is filmed is so beautiful and gorgeous, but I think it was all wayy too overwhelming for me. The fact that it’s so heavy all the time with little to no high points pretty frustrating. I just ended up watching a 5 minute YouTube recap of the second season.
Only watched the first season so far, and it's hooked me enough to watch season 2. While watching, I kept comparing this with Netflix's Sex Education, and how Euphoria is SO much better. One of the things that I appreciate the most about this show is that it is "inclusive" in the sense of showing different types of people, but it does so in a rather natural way, you don't feel like they're shoving a "moral message" down your throat, and even if all of the characters face their own demons, they (the show) certainly avoided falling into that "I'm a victim" culture that's so present nowadays. Acting and direction are top notch, making it an overall really solid show
this show has one big problem. It gives you storylines that are interesting, that have potential to be a 10/10, but then it fucks up every single one of them. Like fr i have seen this 1000 times now in Euphoria. It starts good, gets shit, then makes a last minute turn to amazing again so yall keep it as amazing in your heads. Also a very big problem are the sex scenes. I aint got nothing against a well placed sex scene, but they do it every 10 seconds so the teens keep watching, and at the worst times ever. This goes for violence and gross stuff too btw. I am just really disappointed tbh, cuz so far, this could have been a 9/10 at least, but it really fucked up every single character at least once writing-wise. Conclusion: is ok
