Season 12
The twelfth season of RuPaul's Drag Race premiered on February 28 and concluded on May 29, 2020. The competition was broadcast on VH1 in the United States and saw 13 new queens competing for the title of "America's Next Drag Superstar".
I'm That Bitch
Kicking off Season 12, the first seven queens strut the runway in a fashion show, then rap and perform a choreographed dance in front of guest judge Nicki Minaj.
You Don't Know Me
In part two of the Season 12 premiere, a new set of queens walks in a fashion show, then performs a Bob Fosse-inspired number in front of guest judges Thandie Newton and Robyn.
World's Worst
The queens compete on a parody talent show called "World's Worst" and then walk the runway in buttons and bows, and Olivia Munn sits in at the judges' table.
The Ball Ball
The queens hit the sewing machines to design three different sports-inspired runway lewks for the Ball Ball, and comedian and superfan Leslie Jones sits in with the judges.
Gay’s Anatomy
The queens put their overacting chops to the test in a "Grey's Anatomy" parody sketch and then walk the runway in cape-forward fashions, and Normani sits in with the judges.
Snatch Game
The queens compete in the legendary Snatch Game. Mean Girls co-stars Jonathan Bennett and Daniel Franzese guest judge. Drag queen Vanessa Vanjie Mateo (Miss Vanjie) makes a guest appearance.
Madonna: The Unauthorized Rusical
The queens get into the groove in a Queen of Pop inspired musical. U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and supermodel Winnie Harlow guest judge.
Droop
The queens must create and market ridiculously extravagant products for the new drag queen lifestyle brand, Droop.
Choices 2020
It’s time for America’s first drag queen president! The queens argue in a fabulous presidential debate. Actors Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park) and Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) guest judge.
Superfan Makeover
The queens must give makeovers to drag race superfans, who have no idea what's about to happen to them; actor Daisy Ridley guest judges.
One-Queen Show
The queens must create and perform their own solo show; Whoopi Goldberg coaches the queens.
Viva Drag Vegas
The queens must perform a medley of songs from RuPaul’s Drag Race Live!, a hit show on the Las Vegas strip. Choreographer Jamal Sims (Disney’s Aladdin) guest judges.
Alone Together
The 12 queens come together in a virtual slumber party to kiki about all things season 12. Ru checks in with all the girls during quarantine and chats about the shadiest moments, most shocking eliminations and takes fan questions.
Grand Finale
For the first time in herstory, the Top Three queens compete for the crown virtually in a final, epic lip-sync battle from their homes, featuring celebrity guests and past queens.

This season beats the first and the seventh season.... at being the worst!
8/10 If it hadn't been for the Sherry Pie scandal and the Covid-impacted finale, this might have ended up being one of the very best seasons. As it stands, it's still very good, with a truly delightful and mostly congenial cast, and a pretty solid run of challenges including some of the series' most fun guest stars. "Choices 2020", with an election debate chaired by Jeff Goldblum and Rachel Bloom, is a definite highlight. LOOK OVER THERE!
I was getting tired of "new" Drag Race, none of the seasons seemed to the same magic. But holy shit, this season was incredible!! Maybe the strongest lineup we've seen since season 6? Everyone was so loveable (well almost everyone), and the challenges were inventive and fun. It's so rewatchable and that's what makes an incredible RPDR season to me!
