I feel like this whole
Huntington's disease
has been introduced as a way to
break Tim and Rachel up, whether that's literal or due to something unfortunate happening.
Does anyone else feel that way? We also learned a little smidgen about
Angela and Wade's past
that happened to coincide with each other so that was nice, for those who appreciate and/or want exposition like that into the characters. I didn't particularly care about it. It didn't seem compelling enough to capture my interest. Plus, there's a part of me that feels like that whole aspect was concocted to give more significance and screen time to
Wade's character besides the part of giving Jackson something to do.
Which, in regards to Jackson, felt like
the writers are struggling with his character and what to have him do.
It has felt like that for quite some time. Not to mention, he's always overcompensating with everything, resulting in getting reprimanded at every turn by anyone possible, now, basically. That has been giving off the omen that
he's not going to pass the program,
especially how he always seems to get the short end of the stick
in comparison to John and Lucy.
Seth Green and Jeremy Davies? AWESOME!
A mountain of tropes all together today! - Insisting on a cold case cause he's a good guy, and it turns out he solves it (no way!). - A death during Lopez' FIRST day. Not first week, not first year, FIRST DAY. - The old dude who still got it and provides some drama. And the disease, tearjerking. And it's Huntington, which seem to have a cool sounding name to screenwriters. THE ROOKIE WRITERS GOING FULL SOAP OPERA THIS SEASON!
This episode has a casting failure, the guy with the machete had to be "Machete" aka Danny trejo
