Great episode. I'm glad that Jessica Russo is a recurring role for Sarah Shahi, I like her and her character so far. I hope she won't get killed off or something stupid like that.
Haven't seen Firefly for a while but didn't recognize Simon at all. Sarah Shahi on the other way, has a knack for making an impression on her first episode appearances (POI even more impressive)

Love the cast and the characters. But like someone said Officer Nolan is written to be the rookie who does the best. Pretty much in every episode.
