I'm a bit shocked that not many people enjoyed this show that much, from what I've seen. Sure, the progression of the first two episodes was a bit slow but those episodes were still enjoyable. Not to mention, from that point on, the show is very good. I'd have liked it if this show wasn't a mini-series and had more than one season. On the other hand, I'm glad it was as short as it was. Anyway, I found it enjoyable and would recommend watching it to anyone who hasn't or anyone who's trying to decide whether they should watch it or not.

Solid British drama, although not the BEST of Brit. 6/10 Worth taking the time to watch -would highly recomend binge-watching it if you can.

Definitely a slow burner but an interesting series nevertheless. Too bad I could only find it dubbed in Japanese and divided into eight episodes. I never thought that Park Chan-wook could have been the right choice for directing a classic spy caper, but his direction style is actually what makes this miniseries captivating. Subtler and more laid back than his previous works, but still highly recognizable. It might be due to the awful Japanese dubbing, but I couldn’t feel any chemistry between the two leads.

sorta rewatched this in the background and in addition to the obvious plaudits (Florence and Alexander's best performances to date; Park Chan-wook's great direction) let's also give 👏👏👏 for the color-grading, really made the scenes (and especially Florence's dresses) pop. John LeCarre adaptations don't all have to be dreary with a washed-out color palatte!
