Katie Otto es una mujer segura y sin ningún tipo de complejo que vivie en la ciudad de Westport, Connecticut. Es madre de tres hijos que intenta criarlos lo mejor que puede, algo que no es nada fácil debido a que Westport es el ejemplo de lugar que acaba con aquellos que no tienen un cuerpo perfecto o una actitud digna de admirar. Así, Katie debe lidiar con los comentarios despectivos de otras madres y las miradas que le lanzan en la calle ya que su familia dista mucho de ser perfecta, mientras lucha por conseguir que sus hijos no entren en esa dinámica de criticar todo aquello que no cumpla con el estereotipo.

This is so terrible I don't know where to start. It's like a very very weak copy of The Middle, a very loud, tomfoolish, without finesse kind of copy. Managed to watch the pilot and half of the second episode before I binned it.
I watched two episodes and I tried to give it a chance, but it just was not funny. It could have had the potential to be, but so many of the jokes fall flat and the main character comes off as kind of a jerk and not really likable. It's too bad that this isn't that good because I do like Katy Mixon and she is funny, but this show is not.

This is a show that starts off entertaining but seemed to lose its way as its main character becomes less of an underdog and more of an unbearable bully. Fortunately, the kids and Diedrich Bader are quite funny and save the show, at least through the first four seasons.
Very funny tv show. 10/10.
