Braving the elements of this secret location will be the least of their worries as routine training turns into a grueling fight for survival.

Time to meet some new characters
Season 3 of My Hero Academia really takes the story to “plus ultra.” While it starts off a little slow, once the momentum kicks in, the action and emotion elevate the series to an entirely new level. The intensity and stakes feel higher than ever. That said, the pacing isn’t perfect. The finale stumbles, slowing down right when the season should have ended on a powerful high. It’s a bit of a crash after all the energy and buildup that came before it. Even with its ups and downs, this season still delivers some of the best moments in the series so far. It’s exciting, heartfelt, and impactful—overall a great season, but one that leaves you wishing it had stuck the landing just a little better.
Not as good as Season 2, but better than Season 1 is the best way to describe Season 3. There are some great episodes here, but many feel pretty inconsequential to balance this season out as being pretty good.
