800 Words es una comedia-drama australiano el cual será estrenado en el 2015 por medio de la cadena Seven Network.1 La serie es creada por James Griffin y Maxine Fleming.2 La serie se centrará en George Turner, un hombre quien recientemente a enviudado luego de perder a su esposa y decide dejar su trabajo como un popular columnista de 800 palabras de un prestigioso periódico de Sydney. Siguiendo un impulso George compra a través de internet una casa en la remota ciudad costera de Nueva Zelanda, poco después le tiene que decir a sus hijos Shay y Arlo, quienes acaban de perder a su mamá que ahora tendrán que mudarse a un lugar nuevo, sin embargo el colorido pueblo y los lugareños curiosos no le harán muy fácil a George a comenzar de nuevo.

Great show, beautiful women, I find this show completely different to current TV shows.
I watched the series in just three days. It was such a fun show to watch. Very disappointed that it got cancelled so quickly. Was a little disappointed how quickly and unevenly they wrapped everything up.
This is a good show. Good acting. The characters are appealing and written well. The comedy is grounded in life experience and, not withstanding the eccentric characters, doesn't feel a need to be silly. The locations are beautiful. My only criticism is about the voice overs - they are unnecessary to the narrative and often say not much at all. The show doesn't need them. The characters tell their stories very well. (Yes. I do understand that this is that to which the title allude, his column of 800 words.) I give this series a 7 (good) out of 10. [Slice of Life Drama]
