The show that keeps on giving. Real, emotional and sad, but still so heartwarming.

The usual Bojack: sometimes it's great, sometimes it's decent, sometimes it's amazing.

A steaming pile of horsesh*t, BoJack Horseman’s fourth season is uninspired and directionless. The supporting characters try to carry the show as BoJack takes a backseat; Mr. Peanutbutter runs for governor, Todd launches a new business venture (clown dentists), and Princess Carolyn tries her hand as a talent manager, and in the background, BoJack is confronted by a young horse that may be his illegitimate daughter. With everyone kind of in their own stories the season feels really disjointed and lacks the usual character interactions that make the show so fun. Still, it’s not all bad, some of the sketches are funny and there are a couple of amusing satirical bits. It may have its moments, but it’s undeniable that Season 4 of BoJack Horseman sh*ts the bed.

Still a mixed bag with its highs and lows, but the highs are getting higher and higher. Episode 6 and 11 are probably some of the best so far. Meanwhile, I am starting to realize that I am partly BoJack and partly Diane. Can't feel for the other characters, but the way they unfolded Beatrice's issues in the end and at the same time recontextualized every little detail was quite impressive (and heartbreaking).

It's a weird season. The main characters almost never interact with each other. Todd is doing is own thing, spending the whole season on a stupid clown dentist venture. His most uninteresting idea yet. Basically his whole storyline being useless except for the business pitch with Mr Peanutbutter. He's also the main character in one episode, where he's running around helping everybody, that's basically the worst episode of the season. Diane has some little stories about her blogging job, but that's pretty much the same every time. Her best moment is the only time she meet Bojack and they get shitfaced. Mr Peanutbutter's storyline about running for governor is totally uninteresting apart from the initial silliness of the ski competition episode. Thankfully to make up for this Princess Carolyn has a lot of development and interesting (and tragic) stories. And most of all the Bojack + Hollyhock storyline is great. Not only is it a great opportunity for fun situations but we can see Bojack evolving a lot as a character. This makes it a great season despite other characters stories being almost constantly bland. Worst (well, not worst, most boring let's say) episodes: 1) Episode 04: The fracking story, totally generic and uninteresting 2) Episode 03: The Todd one Best episodes: 1) Episode 11: The Beatrice one. **Amazing** storytelling 2) Episode 06: The Bojack internal monologues, never have we seen his so intimately 3) Episode 09: The Princess Carolyn one, so tragic
