Diez años después de la película original de Robocop, Delta City, considerada "el lugar más seguro de la Tierra", se ha convertido en una ciudad futurista propiedad de OCP, y RoboCop, Alex Murphy ha empezado a notar la edad. Murphy se encuentra casi obsoleto, y tiene que aceptar que su hijo ahora adulto, James, es un ejecutivo de OCP, ignorante de que su padre sigue vivo. El antiguo compañero de Murphy, John Cable, ha vuelto también a Delta City como el nuevo Jefe de Seguridad. Pero surgen nuevos enemigos, y Murphy y Cable comienzan a investigar sin saber que se acercan peligrosamente a exponer un malvado grupo de ejecutivos de OCP conocidos como "El consorcio"... del que forma parte James Murphy. Desesperados por evitar que sus siniestros planes sean revelados, "El consorcio" programa a Murphy para matar a John Cable...

I have no idea how this show got made. The pilot is a TV movie version of RoboCop's origin. Then it falls into an experimental concept that become formulaic. Every show begins with a news break. So many odd comments about the world this show lived in as well as telling you what the episode will be about. An odd choice that works to it's benefit. Then there are the animated faux commercials for products that are silly to think could exist. But you aren't coming here for the weirdness. You're here for RoboCop and it is often comical. The bad guys are Dick Tracy rejects. it is pretty much what you would expect for a TV version of RoboCop. Maybe it isn't but it is worth your time for how hard it tried.
Robocop The Series (1994) - ❤x7 This is a wonderful schlocky piece of television history - definitely a cult classic. The News Breaks and commercials are some of the best bits. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
