Still good as I remembered as a child before I could watch them in order. Probably one of my favorite intro music.
This show is terrible, I don't know how it's highly rated. From the animation, to the voice acting, to the storylines, everything is bad about this show. So many easily avoidable plotholes, but it seems the show doesn't care enough. I only continued the show since maybe I'll need the info to watch the new X-Men 97 series. If people think this is a good show, then they will be mind-blown by seeing any anime series.
Take it for what it is and the time it’s from and you can see why it left an impact
I cringe anytime Rogue or Gambit speaks.
Disapointing. The earlier episodes are still way too much childlike compared to the adult centric comics at the time just like I remember when watching them as a child. But then in the middle of season 3, right after the Dark Phoenix saga, it just took a nosedive and went downhill hard.
Specially agtegious were the religious centered episode with Nightcrawler culminating with Wolverine'`s conversion, what the hell was that?! Then it hit rocl bottom and both the animation and the script quality turned into cheesy C grade 60s cartoon quality. That was marked by the buthering of the intto sequence alongside completely changing the design of Jubilee, Blackbitd, Professor Xavier's chair, among other monstruosities, llike beast head changing size compared to his body, character necks turning into jelly and Gambit's voice changing alongside fot the worse.
It was really painfull to watch. As a child, like I mentioned, I had only watchd the first seasons and already had the opiniom that they were a loit inferior to the comcis, but I had no idea what had happened to the second half of this show. Truly a pity.
