La serie está ambientada en un presente alternativo en el que los robots de compañía son habituales. Se presentan los clásicos dilemas éticos sobre identidad, humanidad, derechos, etc... Ciencia ficción clásica al estilo de las novelas de Asimov actualizada a nuestros días.

It's unfortunate this wasn't a worldwide release, and that English speaking audiences are limited to the homogenized remake -- this is by far the better of the two. I found both seasons on Vimeo, with English subtitles -- here's the subtitled trailer: https://vimeo.com/35140857
No fancy fighting, no fancy lights, no explosions, no expensive effects... it's a simple but brilliant and gorgeous show. I recommend it to everyone.
One of the best shows I watched, last couple of years. I really miss this. Hope season three will come one day.

Great production values overall, but the acting is somehow physically uncomfortable to watch.
