The final season (until it was saved) is a strong one. It works to tie up loose ends and mysteries from _Attack of the Clones_ while also preparing us for what's to come in _Revenge of the Sith_. There's some ambitious stuff here and the use of guest star voices like Liam Neeson and Mark Hamill only serve to make it feel more epic. I missed
Ahsoka
being a part of the season, but in place I got some fantastic clone-based stories and a great adventure for Yoda. I was a bit surprised that the season wasted time on the Clovis storyline given how few episodes they had to work with, but I can only assume the episodes were completed before they creators knew the show had been cancelled.

Being a shorter season, the pointless filler arcs do stick out more but luckily there's only really one. I think the Fives arc is a little long but its last episode is great and wraps up nicely. I don't mind the Clovis arc either as I like that it adds some more introspection into the Anakin and Padme relationship leading up to _Revenge of the Sith_ but it is also like an episode too long. Then we have the Jar Jar and Mace arc, which doesn't really go anywhere and is the obvious filler arc. Luckily the season is saved by the last arc with Yoda with some really interesting and new lore upon the Force and Jedi and what not. I do have to say though, that I find it kind of dumb that the Jedi did not at least suspect Order 66 in this season based on what happens in the first and last arcs.

The Clone Wars Seasons Ranked list --> https://trakt.tv/users/justinnumerick/lists/the-clone-wars-seasons-ranked?sort=rank,asc Not as great as the previous season but still quite good. At this point in the series it does feel like some time is wasted on certain arcs. The Jar Jar/Mace Windu arc especially didn't really do it for me. I'm not an expert on Star Wars so I'm not sure if this did some important stuff to set up Revenge of the Sith or the universe moving forward, but looking at it as its own thing it felt lackluster even if getting more Windu was pretty cool. The arc of the Jedi figuring out Dooku was essentially behind the creation of the clones was pretty great in some ways, but it also creates some mixed feelings for me. At this point (especially considering what went down with Fives earlier in the season), it feels like the Jedi could have done something more to safeguard against order 66. I get Yoda's reasonings of continuing on the only path they have, but I'm not sure that I love it. Again, not the biggest expert on Star Wars and haven't watched the movies in a while so not sure if I'm just missing some important details here. The Clovis arc felt a little bit like a distraction or waste of time, but I get its importance and I do really like the character work for Anakin that takes place in the background of this arc. Also that it's another example of the Jedi way not being so perfect. Anakin has such conflict within him and, from my understanding, being the chosen one meant to balance the force it's natural he would have some more dark side in him that other Jedi. Being asked to force himself to the Jedi way isn't ideal for him, and in this arc you can see it start to break him. The final arc with Yoda's adventure was another great expansion of lore and I love having him front and center again. I especially loved it because until this show I've just seen Yoda as this wise and all-knowing Jedi master, but here we see him when he doesn't have all of the answers and I love that there was still room for him to learn and grow. It feels like he changed as a character in this arc and shifted his focus beyond just the clone wars, and I really loved that. But by far the best arc this season was the first one with Fives, and it may have just made him my favorite clone. I was absolutely heartbroken by the arc's end. We've been with Fives since the beginning and to see him go through this turmoil and go out in such a devastating way hit hard. It's a testament to the strength of this show to turn the clones into actual characters you care about, and this was probably the most emotional arc of the series so far for me. Taking the entire season together, it does a great job with many of its arcs and setting things up well for Revenge of the Sith as far as I can tell. Some low points for sure but another good season in the back half of this series. 7.3/10 -- Good

there were 3-4 major arcs like the default programming with clones, the stuff with clovis and banking clan, rescuing some empress from renegade force users and Yoda's quest to find about what the force really is and things to come.. cool season and only the last one was interesting tbh. Loved the force mystery stuff and others were meh but the last one makes it worth it!

One of the best in the series, the last 3 episodes are. I'd rather watch this any day than the whole Episode VII to Episode IX.
