Is this really the show people on the internet compare to Kurtlar Vadisi? It’s the same old story over and over again. Men are portrayed as mafia bosses, while women are treated like property. A woman says she’ll marry someone just because her brother told her to. Half the time you can’t even tell who’s connected to whom. The plot is a complete mess from every angle, yet people still watch it. I guess as long as it doesn’t affect them personally, they enjoy it. I skimmed through it out of curiosity. It pushes the mafia narrative so hard that there’s ‘good mafia’ and ‘bad mafia’—but still mafia. Kids and teenagers watch this and start glorifying that mentality. For once, make something different—fantasy, science fiction, anything. Instead it’s always the same: mafia, mansions, Mardin, violence, and women being belittled. In short, it’s a show that tells the same mafia story for the hundredth time and tries to sell it as a deep narrative, while normalizing violence and toxic relationships and leaving logic at the door.
