At first, I was hesitant to watch because the character design looked awful. But I was surprised, this is an adaptation that respects the fans. I wish they would adapt even my favorite character, John.

One of the most accurate adaptations from book to film. I was expecting the show to be unwatchable, however, was pleasantly surprised as it seems like a passion project for many involved, especially Robert Maaser (the lead actor) is really great.

This was much better than I anticipated. It was true to the story without trying to capture it word for word. Adaptations from a book series are always risky … especially one loved as much as this one. It’s among the best that Passionflix has produced. So far I’m very pleased with the casting choices. Looking forward to watching the rest of the series.

I was so pleasantly surprised. My expectations were so low watching the trailer and behind the scenes. It seemed incredibly low budget with terrible wigs. And you know what? The wigs are terrible but the actors are really REALLY selling this and the editing is actually quite good considering the book material. Now, I have no memories of the book so I can't quite compare but overall these six episodes just flew by!
