I really enjoyed the storytelling in this series. Not often do you get to go along with a character on a journey in this fashion. The relationships that they showed being built were handled excellently. It really adds a lot when you show small moments that are normally skipped over in other series. The MC's family and friends were so well done, it was heartbreaking when[spoiler] he had to leave the village[/spoiler], but then at the same time it felt so good to watch [spoiler]him check in on them[/spoiler]. So much happened, but there's so much more that I want to see. The MC was great, the artwork was about average, and the animation had some stand out moments but was overall average as well. The last episode really shows you how much world building has happened while you were so focused on a singular aspect of it. I can't wait to watch this again, and to get more.
