When my most favorite character and director meet, expectations are beyond the roof. I wasn't disappointed overall but there is a huge problem with this season: It's NOT Young Sherlock but Young Indiana Jones! It's basically a typical Indy Jones adventure and Sherlock is not developing at all. No Genius, no detuction skills, not anywhere close to the aloof character we all know from the books or Sherlock shows. We only get the mind palace thing, but that's not enough. It's not anywhere near Sherlock and that's a big let down. I still liked the series though and just watched it as Young Indiana Jones. If you do that, it is really well done. Thanks Guy and now please just rename the show or try again with the real Sherlock.

I wish they went with a more procedural style for the show. One case per episode. Instead, they've stretched one single case into a whole season. The portrayal of Sherlock is insufferable. Same goes for the Chinese chick. I'm at episode three. It has been a slog so far. 🙄

I will never get bored of sherlock. This was such a joy to watch

I didn’t mind all the retconning, but in no way does Sherlock do any real detective work. He has a pseudo mind palace where he can remember things. This is more an action adventure movie. Not a detective series. It’s been Guy Ritchied, apparently. Will NOT waste our time on more of this.
