I overall liked this one... but the scenes where [spoiler]rongqing isn't actually shown putting poison on his father's cup[/spoiler] and the ending where [spoiler]the child of rong and wenxuan isn't even shown[/spoiler] and all the misunderstanding scenes... or when the main couple acted dumb when they shouldn't took me out of it.

I'm speechless after episode 40.5, not sure if it's better or worse than The Double's.

I liked the main couple and chemistry but Princess Pingue is sometimes eccentric and dumb who makes same mistake in the new life time . They are also reduced a challenging and smart commoner husband of Premier Pei into a doting husband decreasing his characters influence ; i understand most dramas are for woman imagining these unimaginable romances where the husband know-tows but should be more realistic . By the way disappointed they didn't show [spoiler] their kid [/spoiler] at the end wouldn't be a big budget for small cameo nah ? Su Rongquing also had the chance to [spoiler] redo the past and but instead choose destruction unlike the other 2 couple [/spoiler] ; would have been interested if he was competing for love instead of throne. All other characters have been ordinary which has been the reason for the downfall of the show at the end . I love the ending credits scene ; it has spoilers but the song is so mesmerizing without understanding a single word.
