Sirens is ultimately an easily consumable and easily disposable show, visually interesting but ultimately hollow. Marketed as Netflix's answer to White Lotus, it initially seems like the show will be a larger satire of various types of people. As the show progresses though, it becomes a lot more fixated on these specific characters. Unfortunately, the character drama ultimately feels like finely dressed-up soap opera. It introduces a lot of elements such as an absentee father, the relationship between two sisters, and ex-boyfriends. None of it ever really fits together, and as the show ends, its final image feels unearned and fails to bring together all the disparate parts of the story together. I think all 3 female performances are solid, and Milly Alcock is stunningly beautiful; however, there is nothing really of note in this show and can easily be skipped.

5 episodes, comedy most of the part. Pretty mediocre as a show. Watch and forget.

Pretty good. I enjoyed this show. I generally didn’t care for Julianne Moore’s character but towards the end I sympathized with her. Definitely worth a watch.
