> Love My Food , Love My Voice I picked this drama after some heavier series, hoping for something light—and the first 5–10 episodes delivered. Watching the couple awkwardly navigate their new relationship was sweet, though the age gap made some moments feel a bit off, and some of the kissing scenes came across as forced. There’s more eating in this show than food—not that I’m complaining, but it definitely made me hungry. The male lead is basically a fantasy: he cooks, acts, sings, and is a doctor. Interestingly, he has no experience but is very confident in the relationship, while his friend Ju Mei is awkward with XiaoXing—I never quite understood why he liked her, and it took almost 30 episodes for anything to happen between them. The last 10 episodes were a struggle. There’s almost no conflict—just the happy couple going on dates and visiting different places. I did enjoy the backstory, like how they became VAs and the struggles of newcomers, and I liked how the VAs support each other. That said, the show is overwhelmingly positive and pure; there’s almost no negative thought except for one random moment, making much of it feel idealized. Most of the final episodes felt skippable. **Overall, it’s a light, feel-good watch with a charming couple and wholesome friendships, but it loses momentum quickly and the pacing of the romance can be frustrating.**
