When I just started reading the novel, I asked the translator with who I was on speaking terms back then, seeing all Uea psychological problems and he has plenty, and seeing King who is brazen, careless, and a player- is he the one Uea needs? And she told me- trust me my friend, King is exactly who Uea needs. So I loved the series in terms that it followed the novel to the T, well almost. We good the stepdad, who got his punishment in the series in opposition to the book, delightfully. The trash mother, who lost her face and Uea disconnected any relations for his mental stability. The harasser manager, who disappeared, exactly like in the book, the ex-boyfriend, the supporting friend the best Aunt in the whole world. I couldn't picture any other actors for King and Uea except Net and James. They also were perfect of the perfection to the characters. What I didn't like is the innuendos of the sexy scene instead of seeing them. One scene would have been better for me than 4 hints. I didn't like the choppy editing at places, reminds me so much of Why R U, and I guess that's the way the director/editor works. I didn't like AT ALL that the series left out one of the biggest plot movers of the series and consequently reduced Jade to comic relief. I waited for Bed Friend for over a year and I enjoyed the series a lot.
Me encantó.
