Best buddy-cop show ever. _Miami Vice_ for the millennials. The clothes, the music, the cinematography, the stunts, the practical effects, the witty dialogue, everything is peak '00s. Too bad it didn't even get a Bluray release.

_"Everything we seize, we keep. Everything we keep, we use."_ I used to watch this show back in the day and catched the occasional rerun on tv, but I never saw the entire show from beginning to end. So I decided to start from scratch and man, 'Fastlane' is really a blast to watch. The show is heavily inspired by 'Bad Boys' and 'Miami Vice'. There are lots of fast cars, hot women, over-the-top action sequences and the occasional comedy bits. The cast is also solid, with - the always beautiful - Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Peter Facinelli as the somewhat naive cop and Bill Bellamy for the comedic relief at times. They have excellent chemistry together. Unfortunately the show was cancelled due to the high production costs; around two to three million dollar per episode. It's such a shame that it ends with a cliffhanger. Luckily we have gotten 22 banger episodes out of it. P.S. I watched the Fox TV-rip and I can advise you to do the same, because the dvd version has a cropped image and doesn't have the original soundtrack; even the custom opening theme by Snoop Dogg is missing. I just hope we get some kind of reboot or re-imagination in the future, since the concept is just that awesome.

Should have got a season 2. More proof Fox sucks.
