'Mundo opuestos' narra la historia de amor entre Doğa y Fatih, dos jóvenes que provienen de mundos completamente diferentes y que han sido criados de formas muy distintas. Mientras Doğa ha sido educada por su madre, Kıvılcım, una mujer moderna, luchadora y liberal en un ambiente mucho más abierto, Fatih ha crecido en el seno de una familia conservadora y tradicional. Sin embargo, aunque esas diferencias no son un problema para ellos si lo son para sus familias, que chocan una y otra vez. Los enfrentamientos se suceden y eso genera una tensión que cada vez va a más y que podría poner en peligro la historia de amor de los protagonistas. La situación es insostenible ya que la familia del joven nunca aceptará a Doğa y hará lo imposible por arruinar su relación.
